The learning platform appeals to all types of learners via a diversity of formats and offers a balanced variety of input phases and activity phases of the learners.
Via a variety of methods corroborated by learning theory and the use of modern information technology, adolescents are enabled and encouraged to gain knowledge in an independent and active manner and analyse the subject menstruation and monthly hygiene in a critical manner.
The platform also pursues the important goal of promoting digital competences. In accordance with the Federal Ministry’s digitalisation strategy adolescents acquire competences that make it possible to use digital media to acquire knowledge and to critically scrutinise social networks, information and media.

In the course of conveying the teaching contents it is crucial that they are not taught in a traditional lecture from the front of the class but mainly in a digital and autodidactic way via the learning platform.
Thanks to the platform’s modular structure it is possible to adapt the contents individually to the adolescents’ ages and prior knowledge.
